So I have bamboo growing in my yard and now in the spring time it shoots up from the ground. My friend found out ways to use these shoots instead of just geting rid of them. Here´s what she found out; There are lots of ways to cook them in China and Asia, you can feel free to be creative, mix them with salad, put them in the soup, they go along with pork, chicken or seafood. (boil them for a short while in the water if you use them for salad) You can fry them, with or without soy sauce, you can mix sesame oil and soy sauce as a salad sauce for a bamboo/ham/other whatever greens salad...
